History

How it all started

From the vision of one man, thousand become visionary and change-makers.

1996

Keepers Club International, Inc. (KCI) was founded through the vision and leadership of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, Executive Pastor of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Driven by a deep love for the youth and a strong sense of purpose, he established the organization to shield young people from destructive influences such as drug abuse, radicalization, and hopelessness. His mission was clear: to develop God-fearing, law-abiding, and purpose-driven citizens who will become instruments of peace, hope, and transformation in society.

Originally established in Davao City as the Students With A Purpose (SWAP) Club, the organization aimed to bring together students from different universities and colleges in a spirit of unity, service, and character development. Its strong foundation in community-building, spirituality, and leadership quickly resonated with the youth, leading to rapid expansion across schools and local communities.

In recognition of its growing influence and broader vision, SWAP Club was formally rebranded as Keepers Club International, Inc. (KCI) on November 23, 2001. Since then, it has become a dynamic youth organization legally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), recognized by the National Youth Commission (NYC) under the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP), and actively engaged in local youth development councils such as the Davao City Youth Development Council (DCYDC).

With over two decades of service, KCI continues to inspire, empower, and transform youth through its programs built around the 10 Centers of Participation, with a focused advocacy on peacebuilding and security. The organization has expanded nationally and internationally, leaving a legacy of change in the lives of countless young individuals.

Keepers Club International, Inc. exists not merely as a youth club, but as a movement for transformation. Founded on the principle of holistic development, KCI believes that empowered youth can lead communities, influence national direction, and promote peace in a fractured world.

''Keepers Club International changed my life through music and without our Founding Chairman's love, I am not here."
